Why doesn't anyone credit Cofap? All eyes on lighting, nice and cool in the air conditioning, rewards for everything under the sun... Thought we were equally treated now, I can't tell and neither can over a 100 employees.
Absolutely worse place to work!!! They say one thing and mean another. How do you treat your employees like robots, give them a point system that even the most dedicated employee will fail at, making sure they will not get their raise or bonus. They put you on a schedule, say...working 4- 10hr days then make it mandatory @ the drop of a hat you have to work next day & this is without a 24 hr notice. Hello point. Now you've sacrificed all year, you are suppose to have a week off for Christmas, you finally are going on what you think is a vacation you can spend with your family that you have sacrificed seeing all year, because of this company and they tell you, mandatory work 2 days during your scheduled Christmas break that has been set on their calendar since January, you have told them since September about your vacation because you are gun shy of how they do the last minute thing so you have saved some vacation days in case this happens. Bam, it does, guess what now, it's mandatory. They won't let you use vacation day on your own vacation that was their own scheduled down time for vacation. So now you have a$1500 vacation to lose or take 2 points and lose everything right here at end of year, at Christmas. See how confusing my post has been, this is how they operate. Every day is one big confusing mess. If you are looking to stand around, don't care about moving up in company, have no respect for working or who you work for, could care less about raises or making this a career then Magnetti Marelli is for you. You will actually probably prosper here. Actually I just gave you an example of most of the management. You can catch them stealing time, smoking out back constantly and the only decisions they seem to stand by are the ones when they are fighting for their production numbers and put the employee in the middle of a bad situation, while they tell quality that they don't care that the part is bad, it's being sent! Now you, the employee can't go against the word of your boss, so you are forced to sign your name and pack it out and send! Then get ready for your write up because you signed and sent 300 bad parts. Yep this is who you will be working for!!
work is easy,but I think I might be going else where,I would stay at Magneti if I didn't have to walk to the next state to take a break or go to my car. I'm Zone 4 and it would be nice to have a small break room and a small smoke area on our end,I might consider staying with them then,
I don't know how this place gets bad reviews! I've had a great experience there! I have a great boss and supervisor. Paid lunches and breaks! I've only been there for a couple months and I like it! Every plant is going to have people you don't necessarily agree with and like. The hours are there and the pay is decent until you get hired on!
Treated very unfair and they do not follow their own policy's that are set in place. Very unprofessional and discriminating also the temp service that's supposed to help you because they are getting paid for u to work there, yeah don't expect fair and equal treatment. Terrible company that used to be a good place to work. Disheartening at the least, crack and pot in the bathroom review doesn't surprise me at all, they even drink before shifts out back
Not to mention we work in unbelievable temperatures, and run thousands of parts day, and lighting gets to walk around all day because they only do like 40 pieces an hour??? And why do they find themselves hanging out on Cofap side when they have a cafeteria 3 times bigger than ours??? Work less, make more money, and pampered!
And our support and budget sucks!
